What we offer...
  • Wonder of Touch - Baby Massage. 6 week block - Course Fee includes complimentary welcome pack (containing high quality organic coconut oil & Wonder of Why reusable bag) suitable for children from birth to 12 months -Message for details of small group and 1:1 coaching 
  • Wonder of Words - Early Language/Literacy with Sensory/Messy play - Aiding child development through story, rhymes, early phonics and play based activities pay as you go £10 per session - suitable for children aged 3 months to 5 years old
  • Wonder of The World - Educationally focussed outdoor learning with stay & play - pay as you go £10 per session suitable for children aged 3 months to 5 years old
  • Wonder School - 1:1 Bespoke Educational Support - £40 for 50 minute tailored teaching, suitable for children in Reception to Year 6.

All of our classes, tutoring and consultations take place in our purpose build classroom 'Wonder Barn' in the peaceful and calming countryside just 10 minutes from Bishop's Stortford.  On request some services can be provided in other locations such as homes, settings and schools.  Ample free parking, toilets, baby changing, welly washing stations and light refreshments are available.

Wonder of Touch - Infant Massage and attachment (Seedlings) 

IAIMS (International Association of Infant Massage) accredited instructor led sessions that offer numerous benefits to both child and parent.

Wonder of Words - A fully integrated early language/literacy class with sensory/messy play 

Communication, reading and writing are the keys to unlocking life long learning and maximising educational opportunities. 

These fun, interactive and play based session give children a head start in these vital ares by:
  • developing a love of reading and stories
  • extending and building vocabulary
  • teaching early phonics
  • embedding foundations for writing through early mark making, fine and gross motor skill development
  • accessing messy and sensory play in order to build connections in learning 
  • exposure to open ended resources that develop curiosity and exploration
  • introducing sign language to aid effective communication
  • learning familiar nursery rhymes to build phonological awareness and introduce the rhythm and patterns of language
  • listening to and learning to retell age appropriate high quality stories 
This is a fantastic preparation that will increase your child's success in the core skills of speaking, reading and writing. (Seedlings and Saplings classes available - taught separately)
Wonder of the World - Outside Learning and Natural Play

A chance to enjoy the great outdoors, engage curiosity and have a lot of fun!

Children can be carried in slings, backpacks or join us in their wellies for a guided outdoor learning activity, followed by 'stay & play' back at the Wonder Barn.

An opportunity to engage with nature, to take time to look, listen, smell, feel and think.  This session aims to develop children's sensory and auditory awareness, which are essential foundational skills for literacy, alongside improving physical and mental health.

Our mantra is that there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing and we aim to explore come rain or shine. After all what is more fun than jumping in puddles, especially in the knowledge that there is a heated welly washing station available before the children enjoy some play in the Barn.

Whether you are looking to build your child's confidence, knowledge, understanding or feel they need some support to fill learning gaps left from interrupted pandemic education, our 'Wonder School' classes provide high quality tutoring delivered in small groups.


By teaching children in small (age appropriate) groups or 1:1, they are able to benefit from highly differentiated and targeted input which promotes psychological wellbeing and improves academic achievement.

1:1 and small group sessions available taught by highly qualified and experienced primary teachers with experience of delivering statutory assessments and meeting the needs of SEND learners. 


With a focus on building confidence and fun, these sessions cover essential academic content for EYFS and Key Stages 1 & 2.  They are delivered through engaging and active games and tasks.
